Amy LOVED her charcoal portrait of her and her daughter. I sent it as an early birthday present for her. I felt if I didn't send it when I finished it, I'd forget to send it altogether. Ha! Amy, you're an amazing woman and mother. You deserve the best and I'm glad you enjoyed the art.
So... Since I was on a roll drawing beautiful people, I drew a charcoal of my dear friend, Atlas. Currently adding a koi fish to his portrait per his suggestion. I'm only going to post the finished product later. Don't ask why... I don't know. I don't feel like posting the work in progress. Deal with it.
CRAIGSLIST helped me find my latest commission. Four lovely people run this driving school in Carrollton and posted an ad looking for a muralist. I'm not a muralist, but I felt I could do it! Haha... Turns out they just want their logo painted on the wall of their lobby. I can TOTALLY do that. I DID.. totally.. do that... which I will post pictures of later. That logo took me 3 days to paint. IT WAS HUGE... but I got paid for it. No complaints there. The owners want me to paint more for them. Booyah.
I'm good at what I do.
